Saw this Timber Rattler (about 5' long) slithering across our driveway. After we all ran to get our cameras, we carefully approached him and he retreated to the garden and coiled up. We were very careful and used max zoom.

Wow! A great capture, Tom. And I sure am enjoying it on my screen. I don't mind snaakes that are contained, but in the wild, they truly scare me. Your timing was excellent. You must be so pleased with this!
