A stong image. I agree with Cindy about the shadows. I also like the grate thing on the wall next to the statue. It also adds interest.

I think the shadows on the wall make this very appealing as they seem to be pointing to the fugure. Lovely. Cindy C

Nice balance of entire brightnss range - detail in bright and dark. That's difficult with a digicam, but well done here.

The statue was standing on a flat roofed cabin. The stone wall at the bottom is the wall of the cabin, giving the statue a good base and frame which is repeated in light grey at the top of the photo. Johan

I love the textures in this. The arrangement is very pleasing to my eye also. Striking! ~ Ang

It luks like the statue is on something bt there is a fence which Johan has taken the shot in the bottom frame.. that is where it gets the bottom portion of the foto..
I liked the plain background .. could have been intresting in B/W also

It's not easy to keep detail on the white wall but you succeeded very well. Also good WB without
bluish shine.Pic reminds of the"Vlaaikensgang" in Antwerp

I really like the exposure and contrast of the statue. I'm confused about the bottom of the picture. Its the statue cut off or behind something? Linda
