Carm - another masterful shot! I love the color of this cat. My sister-in-law has 4 Persian Himalayans - none this color. I agree with your comments about the downside of some breeding. This cat does have enormous, beautiful eyes!

Thanks to all... This is a Himalayan Persian... NOT my kind of cat... I am a Maine Coon PURRson completely. About 20 years ago the Persian was a very pretty cat with a nose... The Persian breeders decided that they wanted a very flat-faced cat and the nose wound up between the eyes...producing problems with sinuses and tear ducts... I can't see breeding in characteristics which harm physiological function. I was was able to crop this in an almost perfect square... FUN!!! Carm
