Walkers at sunset, Gray's Lake park
I like the reflectiveness and the "cloning" effects:

sun and reflection on the open water mirrored on the ice,
second "sun" in the trees to the right,
legs of the walkers doubled up side by side
to me, the walkers blend into and become part of the landscape

This park is used by 500,000 people a year, it's 2 miles around the lake, with lights
and emergency call boxes every few hundred feet. The 1/4 mile pedestrian bridge over
the SE end of the lake is an especially big draw.
It's busy even when it's 20 degrees F on a winter day

Panasonic DMC-FZ10
ND filter, shot directly into the blinding sun, it's amazing the detail and the colors the FZ10 pulled from that ball of fire! full exif

Really lovely, Gerry. I agree that the walkers add interest to the shot. Nice composition.

Very lovely-I like the silhouettes and the soft colors. Not bothered by the figures "in the middle", cause the sun offsets them. Very nice. Cindy C

Wonderful shot. I've noticed some great sunsets and your right they go fast.

Well, thank you. I actually like the people. The light was dramatic and fast-changing and I have posted other shots from yesterday in the themes gallery. GR
