Wild Fruits of Summer.
We stand calf deep in the waters of the 15 Mile Creek, with a small bucket hung around our necks and just reach out and pick these beautiful wild Blackberries each year, the 2nd. week of February. Mmmm, Yum Yum!

And the cool Creek water can sooth your painful scratches from the thorns. Reminds of many nice horse rides stopping to pick berries from horseback. You can reach the high ones that the sun have ripened well. Linda

Ooooh, yum! I miss the blackberries from our previous home when I see these. "Fresh blackberry pie for the 4th of July" was a regular part of our summer too. Very nicely done shot, Bea.
