Red Panda

They resemble a raccoon more than their relative the Giant Panda.
They eat almost exclusively bamboo and are found in Nepal, India and China.
Red Pandas are endangered.

Fantastic photo, Laura. Those claws are amazing! You're right... these guys pace really fast and it is so difficult to get a good shot of them on the move, but you have managed to do so wonderfully. I have yet to be able to get a decent shot of a red panda.

Oh my, Laura, you did a fabulous job. I've never seen this creature before. Very foxlike. Those claws are something to behold. You really got the perfect lighting, plenty of light and color saturation with no glare. Linda
