Buffalo Creek Golf Course, Ellenton, FL

You guys have the flowers covered, so I'll take the wildlife. This guy was lying right on the edge of the pond, just off the green as we golfed this morning. I'm so glad I've not seen signs of spring agressive mating season yet.

Lots of green on "the green"! Simple and beautiful shot, which I am comfortably enjoying from home. I would feel differently if I were there!

Sue, they move very fast. They don't run real far and can't change direction easily, so they say, I hear, to zig zag a lot when running. And the key is to be faster than the person with you! Just kidding.

It is a really nice golf course. Just a county course, not private. Its on a backwater area of the Manatee River so there is a constant supply of gators. If one shows aggression they call the "gator" people to come out and relocate it.
