I took a couple of test shots (even did one on auto - which underexposed - i think i may have metered it wrongly), mainly trying to get the shutter speed right - i finally settled on 4s, aperture was automatically set. Anything lower the 4s, the scene became a little too underexposed, esp. nearer the foreground.
I used the cloudy day WB setting, and set metering to spot. I metered the sky in between the two buildings, just above the hills.
Overall, I liked the warm colour, but I notice that there are some noise. I tried to use helicon, and it did a decent job cleaning up the noise.
Very nice shot, Kevin. The FZ10 did well with a low light scene, proving it is capable. And you did a good job of getting set up and framing the shot. Composition is nice.
I am amazed that the exposure came out so well balanced. The background late evening sky is not underexposed, yet the light coming from the windows is not overexposed. Very nice contrast. Did you take several shots, or only the 4 sec shot? How did the others, if taken, come out exposure wise?
