Early spring at Pammel State Park-Madison County, Iowa

We enjoyed our day in Winterset and Madison County-Iowa. Got to see the John Wayne house and outhouse, and the new statue of the Duke. Also, we took in a covered bridge in the city park, shopped at a Ben Franklin store, visited the new library, crossed the Middle River ford in our Jeep, and spent time at the Historical Complex.
