Sandy built this beautiful bee condo over the summer and it is already attracting attention from the insect world. Several Agapostemon sweat bees were hanging around the cup-plant stems (in between the two green bits of wood). As you can see, there is a variety of material in this one, from coniferous cones, to hollow stems of plants such as cup-plant, to straw, bricks, and so on, to accommodate a variety of insect needs.
