White-lipped garden snail (Cepaea hortensis)

Sandy notes that according to snail expert, Fred Schueler, this snail and the previous one, can be either striped or plain, but "the difference is the colour of the edge of the shell." According to the book "Identifying land snails and slugs in Canada" by Wayne Grimm et al, this is a species native to the Atlantic coast, and also widespread in western Europe.
