Common milkweed patch in the New Woods area

This was a magnificent stand of milkweeds in the New Woods area, and lasted for several years. Today, there are no milkweeds, or at best, a couple. Most likely the surge of growth in DSV has replaced the related milkweed. As well, trees have grown bigger and shaded the site. However, this shows what a good milkweed stand can look like.
