The brace which supports the deck was a left over product of the angles cuts on the side walls in order to produce a sloped roof. The small wooden turnings that support the Red Cedar railings are available at most home stores. They are secured to the railings and deck surface by gluing them into holes with a waterproof, non-toxic glue.
