When I was in Cordova Alaska last year, Ron Viands and I came across a bunch
of eagles feasting on a small bear caucus. There was one particularly huge
Bald Eagle who was fearless and wouldn't leave the caucus, as Ron got closer
with his camera about 10 ft, the even bigger "Golden Eagle" kept swooping
down at Ron trying to scare him off. I guess it was a good thing that Ron
was a big guy.
I mean had it been a small guy like me the Eagle may have carried me away,
good thing I stayed in the vehicle huh?
