Although we were full from our dinner at Fantasy Eatery, we had a few more snacks at our friend Alvin's favorite Chinese restaurant in the Toronto area, Magic Wok. In addition to the house specialty "grandfather chicken" (please see next picture), we also had clams in broth, scallops with garlic and scallions on the half shell, and a tasty dish of dao mew (bean stalks) with sliced king mushrooms, which truly passed for faux abalone in looks and texture.
