The China Lane Restaurant no longer exists. It used to be on Mott Street in Chinatown. My daughter remembers only that it had a dark blue glass facade.

My wedding reception was a two-day affair, which was unusual in those days. But I wanted to make sure that all my friends, including those who worked in restaurants and were therefore only available on Sundays, would be able to attend at least one of the banquets.
