![]() Let's start with the Hirshhorn Museum. The Smithsonian's museum of international modern and contemporary art includes a collection of modern painting and sculpture. |
![]() As most of the museums it's free and photography is allowed for the permanent collection. |
![]() Moore |
![]() Warhol |
![]() Below the Hirshhorn going in the direction of the sculpture garden. |

![]() The zoo is under many works, few animals to see. It should be better in 2012-2013 when the work is done. For the moment the only must are the giant Pandas, lent by China. |
![]() Seemingly one of those very rare animals is pregant. They told us so in the news. |
![]() The trail for the elephants so that they can exercise and keep their strength. |
![]() I love this one! He's so absent! |
![]() North of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan and South of the zoo, the subway station. |
![]() The Phillips Collection, one of the rare museums whose visit is not free. Totally worth the $ 12 entrance. |
![]() The Rothko room, designed in collaboration with Mark Rothko himself, almost a chapel, and certainly a pilgrimage for me. |
![]() |
![]() The famous Renoir that is the other highlight of the Phillips Collection, although most of the museum paintings are masterpieces. |
![]() Paul Klee, as usual one of my favorites. |
![]() Richard Pousette-Dart is yet another of my favorites
|
![]() |
![]() End of visit, begin the training in the Bolger Center near Potomac. For the next week I did not go out of this compound. |
![]() |

![]() |
![]() Fitness and training room in the Franklin building, restaurant and buffet food in the Osgood. |
![]() The Corcoran Museum, ancient, modern and also students art. |
![]() |
![]() Robert Dosinesau: Regard Oblique. Watch the lady explaining the painting in front of her, sure that the husband listens, while his eyes go elsewhere. |
![]() Mao by Andy Warhol |
![]() Ellsworth Kelly (same artist who did the white piece in the Nestlé hall in Vevey/Bergère). |
![]() |

|
![]() Parking is an art! This explains why parkings are so expensive. |
![]() And I couldnt resist to this second one! |
![]() The East Market on Saturday, just before leaving for the airport. |
