Hi,
I enjoyed your pictures. I just recently bought a DS and have ordered an 85mmFA*1.4 like yours. I didn't do much research ahead of time and read some disconcerting opinions that the lens is "too soft, mushy, fuzzy" etc. and doesn't get sharp until f4. I hope I didn't make a mistake. Others say it's a good lens for weddings and dimly lit caberets. How do you feel about yours compared to the 85A (which is supposed to be sharper wide open)? I would really appreciate your views. I liked your images shot with it. I paid $820 at Henry's through EBAY. Did I get taken?
