I've finally caught up on my sleep that I missed from this past week. Caught up on some of my weight too. With all the hustle and bustle, I put about 5lbs back on over the last two weeks. Being sleepy, exhausted, and hungry are a bad mix. It leads to things like donuts, burgers, and other greasy foods. I'm slowly getting back into the WW lifestyle again. Plus there's plenty of activity to do, so I'm not worried about that 5lbs.
Got a lot of things done around the house this week. Got rid of some stuff collecting dust and sent it to a garage sale. Cleaned the workshop. Assembled a dresser for Ian's new room. Washed both vehicles yesterday. And today since the weather decided to play nice, I'm going out to cut the grass and fertilize.
One of the things I did today was get the crib set up. Both Amber and Ian were raised in this crib. It only seems fitting that Baby B is too. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not sell parts for this crib anymore, so I had to improvise when two of the brackets came up broken today. It's sturdier than ever now, but Norm Abrahm would have cringed at some of my techniques. ;)
When I finished, I caught myself standing in the doorway today, much as you see recreated here, just looking into what will once again be a nursery. The anticipation is growing day by day.
