I am going in to help unload a boat this afternoon, about 14 hours long, and wasn't sure I'd have time for a photo before I left at 1pm. Some days, the photo gods just bless you with a good shot.
Ian lost his first baby tooth this morning. It's been ridiculously loose for some time now, but he wouldn't let anyone near it, or even see, it for fear that someone would reach in and snatch it out of there. This morning, Margaret and I were just waking up, when Ian comes into the room, all excited. He holds out this tiny little tooth, so small I could barely make it out without my glasses, that early in the morning. But there was no mistaking the gap in his gum line.
I couldn't top Jim's shot of Hailey with one of her teeth, so I opted for the Saturday macro version. I'll get a portrait shot of him with the gap soon though.
So, yet another milestone that is just coming too fast for us, losing his baby teeth.
1 down, and 19 to go...
