I shook hands with an old friend tonight. My Sony 717.
I've neglected the old girl quite a bit over the last 2 1/2 years since getting the 20d.
She's helped earn 16 of my ribbons from the 3 years I entered the fair. Including 4 from this year.
Not bad for an old 5mp point and shoot.
She was something special in her day, and I'm sure she's still got a few more awards left in her.
I'm going to make a point to take it out a little more often.
Maybe this week, I'll take a few infrared shots as well.
I popped a Sunpak 383 on top of her and took a few snaps of Ian to get the hang of the camera again.
It's not a great shot, since Ian kept moving around doing his best Power Ranger moves.
I also think I had the flash set too hot as well. Usually it nails the exposure in auto mode.
