Worn Out
7.2.07

We came home early from Weight Watchers tonight. Not sure why.
We usually take advantage of the fact that Amber takes care of Ian on Monday nights,
but every time we get close to the border, we turn around and come home anyways. =)

Just kidding. Usually we just walk thru Target or Ace Hardware to get some activity
or just have some alone time without the kids. Tonight we just came home.

I dodged a bullet this week...big time. After eating all the goodness that is the
Disney Dining Plan, I only gained .4lbs this week. I probably had more of a gain,
but I did pretty good this week and may have lost most of the weight I gained on vacation.

So, I'm at a total loss of 110.6lbs, with 53.4lbs to go.

Anyways, tonight I walk in the house and find Ian floating in some level of sub-consciousness
on Amber's bed. He's drifting in and out of sleep. Poor guy must have got too much sun
yesterday at the parade or played too hard today. So I got him up and told him to put on his
jammies in case he does fall asleep, we can just put him to bed.

So he put them on and then went out to the porch to find mommy, who was on the phone.
He went and sat in the chair next to her when I came out with the camera. I kid you not
when I say that I took 7 pictures and they are all identical. He would not smile for nothing.
He just wasn't in the mood. I don't even think he blinked once.

I just had to post it. There's just no such thing as a bad photo of your kids.
They are all worth posting.

I agree with Jim.. I love the dead-on looks that kids can have without those posed smiles. This is excellent - I love how intense his large eyes are..

You know...my favorite kid shots are the ones without the cheesy smiles. Anyone can get their kid to smile but few can capture the essence of a kid without it. This is great. He does look so grown up. Nice work.
