I put up a single black sheet as a backdrop and used one Sunpak 383 fired into a white umbrella
at camera left. I had Ian jump off a 18" stool onto a playmat about a dozen times. The look on
his face tells the story. He had a blast, but played the part of an overworked model.

I should have mentioned before that he's holding a wooden sword in his right hand.

I'm just a pathetic hack compared to Chase Jarvis's work, but hey, a guy's gotta start somewhere.

EDIT: I cloned out the sword. There wasn't enough of it visable to be able to tell what it was.

Absolutely killer video. I don't think I would consider you a pathetic hack. ;) Uh-oh...if your daughter reads this she is going to think I'm...well, you know. Seriously though, I like this shot B&W suits it well and the light is right on. Eh...I'm just a pathetic hack campared to you so take it for what it's worth.
