Kung Fu Grip
4.15.07

I had a very fulfilling day today.

I got a lot of little stuff done that I had been waiting for nicer weather for.
It was in the lower 50's but it felt warmer.

Swept out and rearranged the winter stuff to the rear of the shed.

Picked up all the tiny tree branches from the yard. Ian helped out with that.

Tore the lawn mower apart to sharpen the blade, change the oil, install a new spark plug,
blew out the air filter, and tuned the carb. I also scraped off last years gunk.
I still need to pick up a drive belt though, but then that will be good to go.

Took the old Escort out for a spin to shake the rust off the rotors.
It doesn't get driven too much since we got the van.

Rewired the speakers on an old stereo that I'm going to take to work for tunes in the warehouse.

Laid out the solar powered lights with new stakes along the front of the garden.
I had broken off at least three of them with the mower last year,
so now they just slide on and off the post so they can be moved before I mow.

Today just capped off a pretty great week.

Oh yea, all that working around the house and I forget to get a picture in there somewhere. =(

Ian and Amber were wrestling on the spare bed downstairs when it hit me to grab the camera.
He wasn't in the mood to have his photo taken tonight,
so Amber helped me "convince" the model to pose for me. =)
