While we were in Chicago on Saturday, Amber and I stopped at Calumet Photo on Cherry St. I picked up 2 studio clamps and a roll of white seamless paper.
I'd been putting off the rolls of paper for some time now, but I just couldn't get the clean look with white sheets, even if I ironed them. So I bucked up and bought a roll of Artic White.
Ian asked what I was doing tonight, and when I mentioned that I still needed to take a pad shot, he graciously offered his modeling services.
So we lost the socks, rolled up the pant legs a little, rolled out the seamless, and shot away.
Mommy picked this one as her favorite of the bunch.

Lighting for the whole shoot was a Sunpak 383 fired into a 45" umbrella, high camera left.
