My first ship: USS Manitowoc, LST-1180 [gallery 2]

A collection of photos (then and now) of me and
crewmembers of the USS Manitowoc, LST-1180.
I was stationed there from 1976 to 1980, when
most of these were taken.

The Manitowoc homeport was Little Creek, Virginia
for most of it's service while still in the US Navy active fleet.
Anyone with photos to add to this gallery, please send
them to me and I'll post them here. Please supply the
name of anyone in the photos (if known) and any other
information that would be helpful.

Great Memories on the Mighty Manny crew member from 75-77. Shipped home from greece on the med cruise......I was in MS division the captain at that time was Captain Mcintyere?
keep me up to date on the next reunuion please >I am there.
