One benefit of living in the relentless heat and sunshine of Phoenix for two decades is the pleasure of rainy, chilly weather. We experienced this in spades when, while visiting Flagstaff, we decided to take an afternoon and go to the Grand Canyon. It was windy and cool; it rained; it hailed. Sometimes the sun even shone. It was wonderful.
