Waiting for the Interurban ...

Fremont, Wa (USA)

"Waiting for the Interurban" is a 1979 cast aluminum sculpture collection
in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
It is located just east of the northern end of the Fremont Bridge.
It consists of six people, to say nothing of the dog,
standing under a shelter and waiting for public transportation
- specifically, the Seattle/Everett Interurban.
Someone had decorated the statue to wish their friend a happy birthday.
This statue gets decorated in many ways.
Hats and scarves in the winter, college gear when there's a big game, etc.
I hope nobody will think I'm a decoration too!!!
