This is the Old Church,
which is affectionately called "Old John"
by the Delft population.
It dates from 1246.
The tower is 75 meters high
and leans almost two meters!
Throughtout the years many Delft inhibitants
feared the church might one day collapse.
But it didn't happen.... yet.
Many great men are buried in the church.
Like Piet Hein, Anthony van Leeuwenhoek and
... Johannes Vermeer.
