During all my trips, I have met so many different people and,
among them, many children.
Usually children love me, even though I’m an adult bear,
who enjoy adults’ company ;^))
Anyway, it’s always rather delicate to persuade children
that I’m not a toy they can take home.
Often they refuse to leave me, after getting the photos taken;
their parents have to use the subtle art of persuasion to cheer them up
and to make them accept the idea that Frimpong is a free citizen of the world.
But during my stay in this Tanzanian village
I have really been amazed by these marvellous children.
They queued to be photographed with me;
they held me in their arms,
often with a very serious expression as if they felt honoured,
while, honestly, I must say I was the one honoured to be with them.
But then they left me go, without any caprice,
even though I think they didn't have so many toys
waiting for them at home.
I really leave a piece of my bear heart with them!
