If we speak of theatre in Torino, we must start in the city centre.
In Piazza Castello stands the Regio Theatre,
the temple of opera – where Giacomo Puccini triumphed with the La Boheme (The Bohemian Girl), directed by Arturo Toscanini, in 1896 –
and where concerts and ballets are also staged.
Actually I came here today with Bruna to see a ballet.
It was a morning performance, dedicate to school children.
It was really enchanting!
