The causeway to the local beach. Howard Park is one of the county's largest parks and one of the prettiest. Originally an island a little ways off shore, the causeway was built enabling residents to enjoy one of the nicest beaches around. Situated in the Gulf of Mexico near the mouth of the Anclote River, it affords many opportunities to enjoy the water. Jet skiers load the craft from the causeway, sailborders frequent these waters alot and of course the fisherman too. Later in the year the causeway will be lined with sunbathers, as too will the beach. A wonderful place to ride bicycles, on the trails or jog, we have it all in Tarpon Springs!
