After my fanciful adventures in Disneyworld and the great experience of the delicious cooking at my hosts'home, I feel like visiting a little better Tarpon Springs.
What a wonderful weather they have in Florida! Here I'm lazily sitting atop the entrance to Spring Bayou. This is where a big event happens in just a few days (January 6th). All the boys from the Greek Orthodox Church in town will dive off boats and into the water after a cross thrown by usually a Church Archbishop.
This is a big event for many of the residents of Tarpon Springs. Moments after I left
boys began rehearsing for the event. This event commemorates baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan,
when the Holy Spirit descended upon him in the form of a dove.
