On this Spice Tour where we visited the spices plantation
we learned that Zanzibar is synonymous with spices
and that for centuries it was the main African source
of different spices for the world spice trade.

our tour took us to the various areas where spices are harvested.
I really enjoyed seeing cinnamon trees, nutmeg trees, vanilla trees,
pepper, pineapples and bananas and many more sources that allowed me
to smell and taste the various spices and guess what they are.
A tiny cup of green tea is a nice welcome refreshment.
