I'm sitting outside the Princes Gates, a main entrance to Exhibition Place.
This is a fairground that holds the Canadian National Exhibition
every year since the first exhibition in 1879.
The start of the exhibition is the unofficial signal
that the end of summer weather is fast approaching.
In addition to the exhibition the grounds house
many different events from business conventions
and trade shows to the Royal Winter Fair
and even professional sporting events
including soccer and even automobile racing.
