Máire and I went for a walk by Dublin Bay last Sunday.
This is where I took a little rest: overlooking Killiney Bay, with the extinct volcano called the Sugarloaf Mountain enshrouded by clouds in the distance to the south near Bray,Co. Wicklow.
The wall I'm sitting on is called Vico Road, and to get here we passed Sorrento Road, Nerano Road.
I think some Irish people have the notion that this place resembles the Bay of Naples in miniature.
On a fine day Máire says it's glisteningly lovely, but the Celtic mistiness of the scene the day we were there suited my mood better.
