To her horror, as she seeks comfort next to a remote hearth, a mask of anger appears...
...and as she turns away a black mask symbolizing sadness and mourning appears. She recoils, her heart angry and sad
She leaves the church desolate and wanders, lost, through the city
She turns a corner and glimpses something achingly familiar, Marco's likeness on a small shrine.
Taking him gently into her arms, she wraps him in her veil, close, warm, secure.
Glancing back, Marco held close, she can now leave behind her anger, her sadness and simply be with him.
