Campo dei Fiori, translated from Italian, means "field of flowers." The name was first given during the Middle Ages when the area was a meadow. The square is a focus for commercial and street culture, hence the focus of the gallery is on the people who work there as well as the iconic Madonnas painted into the corners of adjoining streets
