Five Sisters
Thus it was that in the ninth month of this year, five sisters gathered
To mourn, perchance, to celebrate the time on this tiny celestial orb
Passed by the one, Helen who, with the other, George, gave
Them breath.

Coors Light and a Headstone
A full one score and three months had slip't
Thru their fingers since that father took his step to Avalon leaving
hearts weeping as he was borne away.

Deeply Sad, yet Composed
Helen, aching to her core,
Now that true companion thru time (seven decades, legend has it)
Was gone. These loyal and true sisters and their two brothers
now found Helen could wait no longer. She, in full grace, found her step
toward that Knight, he of the lineage of the saints, Patrick and Andrew,
and his Urquhart clan issuing from Conachar Mor aside the mystic Loch Ness.

Helen's Headstone, beside George
Helen, the one, the child of Neapolitans, Giamattis, whose lineage took form
'Neath the shadow of Vesuvius for centuries ere the two who left, braved
the waters over Lyonesse, Atlantis and beyond to the New World and
took to the shores of Newhaven, almost a century before, she, as George, became silent
gliding also toward Avalon's shrouded shores (that one score and three months
later) and her progeny wept.

Joan
George, whilst in this realm by dint of deep nobility did find
A dame, well to do yet kind who saw fit to summon him to her employ.
Carmalt, her name who did show to George a land, heaven blessed.
A fruitful vale midst white rock topped mountains. And there lay
Greenpeace snug among the trees which she bestowed to Him
upon her death, honoring his integrity like no other.

Barbara
So came George, Helen and their brood each year twixt then and now
To find their peace. And so they did, most completely at the summer solstice.
These daughters: Carol, Margaret, Joan, Barbara and Donna bles't
Greenpeace with their love. It's heaven magic fill'd their hearts.

The Circle
They were privy to the wishes of their parents, who, mindful of a tiny cemetery
set in the vale a spare half furlong distant from that dwelling sought that resting
place as the chalice for their worldly remains, their ashes.
All this in the hamlet of Wonalancet, the name given to this enchanted vale.

Margaret
So, to that vale did come the five sisters, each from a different quarter to place
Helen's ashes in that small square of God's green earth.

Donna
Donna sought
Greenpeace and tarried there a day, at the golden end of which she wended her way
to find her siblings. Casting a fleeting glance behind her as she passed the graveyard
she beheld , above the jewel'd meadow high on the dark sky, two rainbows.
Her heart quickened as one who might behold an angel. "Mom, Dad"
Two words in a whisper passed her lips.

In Communion
So, all now gather'd the next dawn to place Helen's ashes by George's side
Cover'd by deep wine-red roses.

Carol
And when the
Ceremony was done all left, save the five sisters who tarried with the spirits of their parents.
