Partridgeberry The Partridgeberry is found in woods, especially near pines, and is 2 inches high with 1/2 to 3/4 inch long hairy flowers occurring in pairs. After fertilization, the flower ovaries fuse, giving rise to a single red berry with two dimples, revealing its fused nature. Identification and data kindly provided by Dr. Peter Gallagher. pgall@latech.edu
