Winter in West Sedona

West Sedona, AZ

Many of the red rocks in Sedona have names and some even two names. Four of the named rock formations are seen here. From left to right: Chimney Rock (far left) Thunder Mountain (middle left - there is trail to the top but not for me!), the mound in the foreground center is Sugarloaf I believe, and the last major formation on the right is the infamous "Coffee Pot". This view is looking north over the city of Sedona in the part known as West Sedona - the newer developed part of town and where many of the old cowboy movies were filmed before all the development.

While we like to get away from the snow in New Hampshire in the winter, perhaps you can see why we like it here in Sedona in the winter and spring months ;-)
