Eldar: Gordon is a fellow displaced person, like you, living in Canada. I suspect by now both of you are familiar with snow ;-)

That avalanche of snow might hit really hard if he does not run fast enough...

Nice shot. The ice seems to be struggling to survive.
You mention hits; have you seen PBase's hit-counting facility? Here it is:http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/56232461 .

Beautiful scene. The human figure gives a great sense of scale.

Thanks much! Gordon and I were talking about you today, before we received your remarks below! We were saying how supportive you are of the work of both of us amd how much we appreciate your comments. Also because he gets to much mail, he can hardly answer all comments to him on a timely basis. He has a satelite internet dish on his RV trailer as he moves around. We have has a great few days of shooting Sedona together. You should be next ;-)

everything is in perspective......
2 million hits for such a great landscape photographer is probably a tad undeserving (should be more).
and yes, this is a lovely perspective shot of how overwhelming nature's beauty can be. :))
