Bouldervale Farm
Grantham, NH
This farm is called "Bouldervale" because of all the rocks that were on the land and had to be cleared away. The rocks are from the glacier when it melted thousands of years ago. Hence, all the stone walls in New England. The barn in the fog in the upper left was built in two halfs. The first half was built in the late 1700's and moved across the street in the early 1800's to where it is now. The owners have a little farm stand to the right of this image where you pay on your honor for what you take. The same family has owned this farm since it was first built.
