Taken at the Army Pictorial Center by renowned photographer Lt Al Francekevich,
who wrote the column "In the Darkroom" for Popular Photography Magazine for many years.
I was stationed at this post from Dec of 1956 thru Dec 1958, there began my association
with photography and learned by way of some great enlisted men who knew their craft,
and ofcourse from Al as well.
The Oscar was awarded to the "Pic Center" for a film directed by Frank Capra
during WWII.
