I estimated it would take an hour to get to this site I was told about yesterday. I either missed or guessed wrong on about 10 to 12 turns, drove miles out of my way, and it took two and a half hours. The sun promised to shine all during the trip, but did not and it was almost dark (5:30 pm) when I arrived. Just as I was climbing to the spot needed to shoot the image, the sun broke thru on the tree tops for about 2 minutes. I thought it would never the less be way too dark and contrasty. Good olde grad nd filter, Lightroom 3, and Photoshop 4 ;-)
