 I soldered on telephone cord and covered it with heat shrink |
 Test for fit and position |
 Cord is run up through the hole for the speaker wire |
 Drilling the pilot hole |

 I covered the entire control with electrical tape to keep water out of it |
 I sliced open the insulation on the passengar headset cord under the seat |
 Extracting the Left and Right audio wires (Red and Yellow) |
 I cut the wires so I could insert my volume control in line |
 Wire connections are soldered and heat shrunk |
 All four connections done |
