Thank you for taking the time to document your change. I did my first coolant change today (Nov 2012) on my 2008 GL1800 with confidence after viewing your post/steps. However, I did freak a bit after I pulled the reservoir out the breather tube came down with it and I didn't know what it was or where it was suppose to go. I originally thought it had come lose from somewhere up in the engine area. But after looking in the my manual I found how it fit back through the hose guide and No Problems. thanks again.
