Thanks for the info. I stil do not like the revamped plastic. But then again, it took me until 2006 to get rid of my '89. I did not like the 1800 for quite a long time. Unfortunately, I think the changes for 2012 is just a stop gap until they can refine the real new redesign of the flagship. But that may be wishfull thinking too.
