A symbolic photo today. Today was my last day at my current job. After 12 years, working on different projects in several countries, and even different companies, (a merger of my 'old' company into a 'new' one), I was laid off today. After several weeks at work knowing this would come, it was actually a relief today to no longer have to try and accomplish any actual work when the motivation is gone. Probably helped by the fact that I did have a positive interview last week and that I have another one lined up this week, which makes me hopeful that my transition from one job to the next won't drag out.

I'll have to photograph the beginning of a book when I start my new job ;)

Printed the last page on the printer, cut to size to fit in the book, then photographed. Slight compensation for white-balance issues, levels, curves, and there you have it.
