It does look as if something's chasing them, doesn't it? Actually, I think they were hungry with the pond being pretty much frozen, because they were all running and flapping and scrambling toward me. It was quite a sight. And one I wouldn't have gotten w/out the PAD project because it was cold and I wouldn't have stopped at the lake ...
